| Frequent Asked Questions WHY SHOULD I HAVE MY WEDDING VIDEOTAPED? There is nothing like a professionally produced videotape to capture all the sights and sounds of your wedding day, an event which has become one of the major social events in a person’s life. What better opportunity to capture all of your family and friends so you can cherish your day for years to come! We have had several couples tell us that having their special day videotaped was the best thing they did on their wedding day. CAN’T A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER VIDEOTAPE MY WEDDING? Certainly, but don’t expect professional results. All Videoworks Productions is an Emmy Award Winning Video Production Company and has filmed over 2500 events since 1989. We use high-end television cameras, digital mastering, special effects generators, digital editing equipment, professional microphones, tripods, and plenty of equipment to create a true television production. WON’T THE VIDEOGRAPHER BE OBTRUSIVE AND DISRUPTIVE? All Videoworks Productions makes every effort to record your wedding unobtrusively and tastefully, using no lights at the ceremony, remaining stationary and silent throughout and using a documentary style of videography. WHEN DO YOU BEGIN FILMING? All Videoworks Productions requires a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the scheduled ceremony starting time in order to set up our cameras, microphones and make a proper test of all the equipment. We spend anywhere from 4 to 8 hours covering each wedding, but 6 hours is usually sufficient to get complete coverage of an average wedding. HOW LONG WILL THE FINISHED VIDEO BE? The length of wedding video can vary depending on what video package was purchased and how long the ceremony and reception runs. All Videoworks Productions likes to edit a complete production down to about 1 to 2 hours in length. This allows the presentation to flow and not be boring. It won’t be “just another wedding video,” it will be a “documentary of your day!” WILL YOU ATTEND THE REHEARSAL? All Videoworks Productions usually will not attend the rehearsal because of other commitments, but we will attend a few if we feel that it is necessary. We are already familiar with many sites. If your site is not familiar to us, we arrange time to seek out optimum camera angles, available lighting and whatever is helpful to make the production its best! ARE YOUR PRICES NEGOTIABLE? Our prices are based upon our over 18 years of experience in covering hundreds of events, as well as the high quality of professional equipment that we use. Therefore prices are not negotiable. We encourage you to shop around and compare, but please LOOK at the actual work, don’t just shop by phone or over the Internet. There are wedding videographers that do charge less, but be aware! They do not have the awards, talent or equipment that All Videoworks Productions have. WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR FINAL PRODUCT? All Videoworks Productions has high-end….very expensive editing equipment that allows us to produce an excellent product. We are able to process video faster than most other video production companies in the country. This allows us to keep our prices down and you will receive your Wedding DVD's within two to three weeks of your wedding day. WHAT IF MY CHURCH OR SITE HAS RESTRICTIONS ON VIDEO? Some churches and synagogues have guidelines, such as limited camera positions, no flash photography, etc. We strive to place a camera in a position which affords us a clear view of your faces during the ceremony.
